Marvel actor Jonathan Majors’ disturbing texts reveal alleged admission of violence

In a series of text messages revealed in court, actor Jonathan Majors appears to admit to physical violence against his former partner, Grace Jabbari, months before his arrest in March on assault charges in a separate domestic violence case. The messages, displayed to the jury and read aloud by Jabbari on her final day on the stand, shed light on the alleged abuse she suffered.

In one message, Majors expresses concern about the consequences if Jabbari were to seek medical attention for her injuries. He warns her, saying: “I fear you have no perspective of what could happen if you go to the hospital… it could lead to an investigation even if you do lie, and they suspect something.” Although Majors mentions that “it’s just fake,” the context of what he is referring to remains unclear.

Jabbari, visibly emotional, reads another message in which she assures Majors that she will not hold him responsible for the injury to her head. “I will tell the doctor I bumped my head,” she cries.

Assistant District Attorney Kelli Galaway continues reading on Jabbari’s behalf, “I will tell the doctor I bumped my head if I go. I’m going to give it one more day, but I can’t sleep and I need some stronger pain killers. That’s all: why would I tell them what really happened when it’s clear I want to be with you?”

Majors threatened suicide

In these September 2022 text messages, Majors allegedly threatened suicide if Jabbari sought medical help for her head injury. He writes: “Last night I considered killing myself versus coming home… I need love too. Or maybe I’m such a monster and horrible man, I don’t deserve it. And I should just kill myself. In this way, my existence is miserable, I want to die.”

The revelation of these text messages adds further weight to Jabbari’s claims of abuse and paints a troubling picture of their relationship. The defense had attempted to question Jabbari’s credibility by highlighting her lack of memory regarding her injuries after the alleged incident in March 2023. However, Judge Michael Gaffey noted that the defense knew there might be other reasons for her lack of recollection.
