I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! was forced to apologise after accidentally ‘liking’ an ‘unacceptable’ comment about one of the celebrities.
The show’s official Instagram and Twitter pages shared a post late on Friday night confirming that they had accidentally liked an Instagram comment.
The social media team said the comment contained ‘unacceptable language’ about one of the campmates as they apologised for any ‘offence’ caused.
The post did not reference what the comment was or which campmate it was referring to.
It read: ‘Yesterday we accidentally liked a comment on Instagram while scrolling down through viewer comments.
‘The post in question contained unacceptable language about one of our campmates and we apologise for the mistake made and any offence caused.
‘We seek to champion all our campmates and would always urge our audience to be kind when commenting on social media.’
Nella Rose, Fred Sirieix, Nigel Farage, Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold, Josie Gibson Marvin Humes, Nick Pickard, Frankie Dettori and Tony Bellow are all currently living in the Australian jungle together.
Jamie Lynn Spears dramatically exited the show earlier this week on ‘medical grounds’ after having a difficult time in the camp and crying over missing her daughters Maddie, 15, and Ivey, five.
And Grace Dent also left the Australian jungle after ‘losing all her energy’ in camp, with a show spokesperson confirming that she had exited on ‘medical grounds’.
And now, Josie has reportedly sparked fears she could quit the ITV reality show after crying over missing her son.
The This Morning host, 38, is said to have been ‘struggling’ in camp and in Friday’s episode, Josie broke down in tears over missing her son Reggie, five, and said she ‘shouldn’t have ever left him this long’.
Struggling to control her tears, Josie sniffed: ‘I just miss my little boy. I shouldn’t have ever left him this long.’
Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Josie then admitted: ‘Just had a little wobble. You just feel very guilty. I’ll never leave him this long again, ever.’
A show source told The Mirror: ‘She has really struggled in the last couple of days. It may just be a phase but it is worrying so far from the finish line.
‘She has seen others walk away too which may make it easier for her to throw the towel in if the next couple of days don’t go well.’
Josie’s son Reggie, five, has been staying with his father Terry Bond while the presenter is in the jungle. The pair started dating in 2017 but split in 2018 when Reggie was five months old.
It won’t be long until Josie will be reunited with her son as this Sunday marks the start of their final week in camp, while her son has also arrived at Brisbane Airport to see his mother when she leaves the jungle.
Elsewhere on Friday, Nella was voted in as the new camp leader and switched up the roles of what the campmates would take responsibility for.
She made it very clear what she thought of Fred Sirieix as she put the First Dates star, 51, in charge of washing up, along with GB news presenter, Nigel Farage, 59.
Fred had previously criticised Nella for her poor washing up abilities – which she was responsible for before – saying that ‘standards were not met’ and made her redo the pots and pans a number of times, before he was satisfied.
But with Nella now in charge, she made it her mission to get payback – and revelled in the moment.
Talking to Made in Chelsea‘s Sam, 31, and Eastenders‘s Danielle, 31, in the camp leaders bus, she made her feelings very known.
She said: ‘Fred has been making my life hell for a long time and I’ve been trying to keep my mouth shut and I feel like like karma is a b***h.
‘For now, Fred has lost all control, he’s not allowed to tell people what to do, when to clean the pots and and and tonight, I don’t even care anymore.’
After a meal of chicken, vegetables and rice had been cooked by This Morning’s Josie Gibson, 38, Fred cleaned the pots in front of the camp and joked: ‘Meanwhile there is a masterclass in washing up for those who are interested.’
Later, Nella took to the Bush Telegraph and revealed how his comment hadn’t sat well with her.
She said: ‘For the past couple of days my life has been made hell.
‘I will leave one grain of rice on one plate and all 20 of them have been landed on the floor, because they all need to be washed because the chef has decided to throw his toys out of the pram.’
The pair previously locked horns over ‘Dadgate’, which saw Nella call Fred out over a comment he made where he said he could ‘be her father’, hours after revealing she had lost both her parents.
