Alexandria celebrities to ‘sing’ their hearts out to benefit AMVETS Post 7

Several local celebrities will take to the stage in the AMVETS Post 7 Cenla VIP Lip Sync Battle and sing their hearts out this Friday at Alexandria Convention Hall. 

Okay, so they aren’t going to really be singing, but the evening promises to be full of fun while raising funds in support of local veterans. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the Battle starts at 7 p.m. 

Single tickets are $30 and couple tickets $50 and can by purchased at Century 21 Buelow-Miller, 206 Main St., Pineville, or AmVets Post 7, 3409 England Dr., Alexandria. There also will be a cash bar and silent auction. 

Contestants include Jennifer McCloskey and associates from the Walmart Neighborhood Market #3727; Melissa Ayala and Marilyn Edwards, both with Louisiana Lagniappe Realty LLC; Scott Meche, Post Commander AMVETS Post 7; Peewee Morrow, owner/operator Housecall Home Inspection SWLA/Cenla; Brittney Beauchamp Merritte, Guild Mortgage; Thompson Law Firm; and Rich Dupree, Laronna Weathers, Ross Perron and Brandi Hopkins. There will be a special performance by AMVETS Post 7 members.
