Britney Spears says Justin Timberlake cheated on her with another celebrity

More details of Britney Spears’ new book are being released, including a claim that Justin Timberlake cheated on her with another celebrity during their 3-year relationship. Spears and Timberlake dated from 1999 to 2002 and fans long believed infidelity led to the split, but assumed Spears had the affair after Timberlake released the solo hit “Cry Me a River” and Spears sang “Everytime.”

TMZ reports Spears writes in her memoir “The Woman in Me” that Timberlake cheated on her, adding to the bombshell that she allegedly got pregnant and had an abortion during their relationship. Spears has not named the alleged other woman, saying she doesn’t want to embarrass her because she’s now married with children. (ET and Page Six report speculation points to All Saints singer Nicole Appleton, who was spotted with Timberlake trying to hide from paparazzi in 2000.)

Timberlake has not publicly commented on Spears’ book, but a source told ET that the former *NSYNC singer is “focusing on his own family and trying not to concern himself with Britney’s memoir.” Timberlake, 42, now has two children of his own with wife Jessica Biel.

Spears, 41, later had two children with Kevin Federline, who she was married to from 2004 to 2007. Her memoir will be released Oct. 24.
