I’m A Celeb twist as camp split in two & fans turn on Nella over Fred row

I’M A Celebrity’s Nella Rose is the jungle’s fastest ever career casualty — after a fiery bust up with Fred Sirieix took her from hero to zero within minutes.

The social media star won over viewers on her ITV debut, seeing her odds slashed from 25/1 to 16/1 overnight after a strong opening episode where she chowed down on penis pizza with ex-Ukip boss Nigel Farage.

But following an explosive bust-up with fan favourite Fred, she has gone from being lauded as a potential winner to become a rank outsider at 50/1.

The row began after First Dates star Fred, 51, remarked he was “old enough to be her father”, while cooking in camp.

It sparked a reaction so strong from Nella, 26, she insisted they would no longer speak and that she would not be near him.

Having already told him how her own dad had died in 2020, Nella asked Fred: “Are you stupid?” and also told him: “You only get to disrespect me once.”

Viewers said Fred was not being patronising and branded Nella “vile” after the exchange, vowing to vote her out at the first opportunity.

Brand and culture expert Nick Ede said the fallout was “one of the biggest showbiz boomerang moments in telly history”.

He said: “Nella had an opportunity to become a household name, but her discussion with Fred is the biggest own goal ever on TV.

“She did not even accept his apology. I fear her fate is sealed.”

Original I’m A Celebrity camp mate Tony Blackburn, 80, also waded into the row and said: “What a stupid argument. He didn’t mean any harm. He seems a very kind man.”

The row has forced camp mates to choose sides, despite only knowing each other since Saturday.

And The Sun can reveal things are about to become more tense as bosses bring in a shock twist.

New arrivals — racing legend Frankie Dettori, 52, and boxer Tony Bellew, 40 — will land in tomorrow night’s show to divide the camp into two rival teams, causing further havoc.

They will both be coaches, with one group staying in main camp and the other moving to Snake Rock, where they will be plunged straight into head-to-head challenges.

A source said: “We’re only a few days in, but there’s already been disagreements and rows, so this will rock the boat even further.

“Dividing the camp always causes drama. Everyone is unsure how it will play out with Nella and Fred.”

And in tonight’s episode Nella waded into the fray again, this time taking on Nigel on immigration.

She said: “Let’s get everything out in the open. Apparently you’re anti-immigrants?”

Nigel asked: “Who told you that?”

Nella replied: “The internet.”

Nigel responded: “Oh, well there we are then, it must be true.”

Fa-rage at rat attack

NIGEL Farage was left fuming when a rat paid a visit to camp after messy celebs left food out.

He lost it when Hollyoaks’ Nick Pickard spotted a hole chewed in their rubbish bag.

Nigel ranted: “It’s bloody stupid. It all got a bit slack, it all got a bit slovenly, leading to a food bag being left out overnight, which was attacked by a vermin of some kind.”

First Dates maitre d’hotel Fred reasoned it had all gone to pot after his row with Nella.

He said: “I think everyone was knackered and then all the rules went out of the window. It was just emotions were heightened.”
