20 big-name celebrities who announced their pregnancies this year

When Nelly and Ashanti rekindled their relationship in 2023, the news excited everybody. In April 2024, the pair got fans even more hype when they announced they were expecting a baby later in the year. In an Instagram video, Ashanti could be seen telling her inner circle that she’d be ready to take the stage again in “about nine months.” The post’s caption read, “Baby, baby, baby, baby.”

Congratulations are in order for Logan Paul and Nina Agdal. The pair began dating in 2022, and in July 2023, the YouTuber turned pro-wrestler and boxer popped the big question, writing on Instagram that he was engaged “to my best friend.” In April 2024, Paul posted another photo, this time sharing the news that he and Nina were expecting “another Paul coming this fall.”

Things are looking gleeful for Lea Michelle and her partner, Zandy Reich. At the beginning of 2024, the pair shared the exciting news about their growing family, writing on Instagram, “Mommy, Daddy, and Ever are overjoyed.”

It’s the start of something new! In March 2024, High School Musical’s Ashley Tisdale announced her pregnancy online, writing, “We can’t wait to meet you.” 

They really are all in this together. Vanessa Hudgens, another HSM star, also revealed her pregnancy in 2024 at the 96th Academy Awards on March 10. The singer and actress wore a long black gown with simple hair and makeup, jewelry, and a big smile.

Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent’s biggest dream was to have another baby, and now, it’s finally happening. In March, the reality star shared an Instagram post revealing she was expecting. “Cheers to a new addition to my little family,” she wrote. 

Singer Kali Uchis told her fans that she and Don Toliver were expecting a baby in a fun music video titled “Tu Corazón Es Mío… /Diosa.” In a special Instagram post, the couple boasted about the joy they felt, saying they were starting a family and begging their baby not to take “too long.”

In June, Wiz Khalifa and Aimee Aguilar teamed up with ClearBlue to announce their big news on Instagram. “Baby Girl On The Way,” the Pittsburgh-based rapper wrote in his caption.

T.J. and Dani Watt have been together for some time, and in September 2024, the couple broke the news that they had a bun in the oven. “We can’t wait to meet you, baby,” Dani wrote in her Instagram Story.

Cardi B announced she filed for divorce from her partner, Offset, in July 2024. Shortly after, the Grammy-award-winning rapper shared the news that she was pregnant with their third child. “With every ending comes a new beginning,” the caption read.

After an explosive breakup with her ex-fianceé, Carl Radke, on Bravo’s Summer House, fans didn’t know what to expect from Lindsay Hubbard next. But they didn’t have to wonder too long. The reality star shared the news that she and her new boo were pregnant on July 4, 2024, writing, “WE’RE PREGNANT!”  

Olympic swimmer Nic Fink told reporters during the 2024 Olympic Games that he and his wife were pregnant with their first child! He joked that competing in Paris was like being “out of the frying pan,” and once he landed back in the States, it was “baby time.”

Candiace Dillard Bassett is a singer, iconic reality star, and soon-to-be mother. In April, the former Real Housewives of Potomac star shared the news with Entertainment Tonight, saying she’s ready to be an all-loving, supportive mother to her newborn. “I’m excited to just support them … in whatever they want to do,” she gushed.

Eboni K. Williams, known for her time in the courtroom as an amazing lawyer and on reality TV as a Real Housewives of New York cast member, told her fans she was expecting her first child in June 2024. “Thank you, God,” she wrote. “Abundantly blessed and so excited to welcome my daughter to this world.”  

Gypsy Rose Blanchard dumped her first husband, Ryan, weeks after being released from prison, rekindled her relationship with her first love, Ken, and then announced her pregnancy some months later. “We are proud to announce we are expecting our first child in January 2025,” she captioned her Instagram photo.

Rumors were floating around that actress Margot Robbie and her partner were expecting a baby, and in September 2024, the Barbie star confirmed it when she posed on the red carpet, showing off her baby bump.

Trevor Lawrence’s squad is growing by one. The NFL quarterback posted a series of photos on Instagram of him and his wife holding sonograms, writing, “A little Lawrence [is] on the way.” Trevor’s football team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, also jumped in on the fun, writing, “We’re having a baby!”

Another Disney star expecting in 2024 is Aly Michalka of the popular band Aly & AJ. In January, she told People that she and her husband, Stephen Ringer, “feel really lucky and blessed” to be bringing a new life into the world.

Sofia Richie found out she was pregnant in the most Sofia Richie way possible: in Milan for Fashion Week. The model told Vogue in January that she found out “very early” about her growing baby and that she and her husband, Elliot, were more than excited about the good news.

Drew Scott can add one more member to the Property Brother’s team. In January 2024, the HGTV star posted a special photo on Instagram of his first child, Parker, touching his mommy’s belly, writing that he hopes his son is ready for “a little company.”
