If you paid particularly close attention to The Beatles’ “Get Back” documentary, it’s possible you may have noticed Alan Parsons in the background working as a “tea boy” aka a tape operator.
This fall, the 75-year-old tape operator turned rock star will be front and center.
From October through December, The Alan Parsons Project have gigs lined up at theaters, arts centers, casinos and music fairs all over North America as part of their ongoing ‘Reset and Power Back On Tour.’
That includes shows at Englewood, NJ’s Bergen Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Nov. 14, Westbury, NY’s Westbury Music Fair on Sunday, Nov. 17 and New Brunswick, NJ’s State Theatre on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
At all concerts, fans can expect “a distinctive mix of almost Floydian prog-rock and sensitive ballads” according to a glowing review from The Independent.
