‘Dancing With The Stars’ Anounces New Celebrity Competitors

ABC has unveiled the celebrity roster for its upcoming new season of Dancing With the Stars. Opening on Tuesday, September 17, this season’s celebrities and professional dancers consist of the usual mix: actors, athletes, reality personalities, models, someone of a controversial nature, and an evergreen star (or two) from yesteryear, in this case Tori Spelling from Beverly Hills, 90210 and Reginald VelJohnson from sitcom Family Matters.

In the sports world are Super Bowl Champion Danny Amendola, NBA Champion Dwight Howard, Olympic rugby player Ilona Maher, and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik.

There are two personalities from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette: Joey Graziadei and Jenn Tran. Also in the reality mix is Phaedra Parks from The Real Housewives franchise and competition series The Traitors.

In the acting department are Chandler Kinney (Lethal Weapon) and Eric Roberts (Oscar nominee for Runaway Train). And representing the model world is cover girl Brooks Nader.

And the controverial entry, Anna Delvey, the con artist and fraudster, presently under house arrest, who posed as a wealthy heiress and was the subject of the Netflix series Inventing Anna. Now she is competing on Dancing With the Stars!

The pairs will be judged by the returning Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough host.

Dancing with the Stars is produced by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.
