DNC Celebrity Attendees: Musical Performers And Actors Who Showed Up For Kamala Harris

Several high profile guests helped kick off the 2024 Democratic National Convention Monday August 19 in Chicago, Illinois at the United Center.

Musical performers who opened the first night of the four day gathering included James Taylor, Jason Isbell and Mickey Guyton. Tony Goldwun also hosted the first night of the convention, and three more celebrities — Ana Navarro, Mindy Kaling and Kerry Washington — are slated to host the next three nights.

Of course, President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden were in attendance, as was Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband Dough Emhoff. Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Karen Bass and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez were among those who spoke Monday night.
