The Amazing Race Australia: Full cast revealed

Channel 10 has announced the complete cast of the 2024 Celebrity Edition of The Amazing Race Australia.

The reality series, which kicked off filming in Buenos Aires, Argentina this week, features pop star Natalie Bassingthwaighte, 48, and her sister Melinda Sheldrick racing against 10 other teams.

Also competing this season is 41-year-old former Olympian Ian Thorpe.

The swimming champ will be joined by his long-time mate Christian Miranda.

Ten took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal the cast of the long-running reality hit after a blogger leaked details earlier this week.

The fan site also posted a photo of a crowd in front the Presidential residence, the Casa Rosada, with a caption announcing the start of production.

Married at First Sight’s ‘Cyclone’ Cyrell Paule, 34, and her boyfriend, Eden Dally, 31, have also been confirmed for the travel series as well as funnyman Peter Helliar, 48, and his wife Bridget.

Would I Lie to You? star Luke McGregor, 41, has also joined the cast, alongside his mum, Julie.

Host Beau Ryan (pictured) will be also be back this season.

They will be racing against Ironman Jett Kenny, 30, and his girlfriend, model Lily Brown, 26, and former AFL star Billy Brownless, 57, and his 24-year-old son Oscar.

Also competing this year are famed Matlidas team mates Chloe Logarzo, 29, and Emily Gielnik, 31. 

Country music star duo Brooke McClymont, 42, and Adam Eckersley, 42, celebrity DJ Havana Brown, 39 and her ‘bestie’ Stephanie Wood, and UFC fighter Tai ‘Bam Bam’ Tuivasa, 31, and his brother Logan Tuivasa complete the cast.

Meanwhile, Beau Ryan is set to return to host the 2024 season.

The much-hyped Celebrity Edition of The Amazing Race Australia launched last year and featured Grant Denyer and his wife Chez, former Wiggle Emma Watkins and her sister Hayley and WAG Bec Judd and her sister Kate Twigley.

In all their were 11 teams racing across India, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Borneo, with hopes of winning $100,000 to be donated to their chosen charity.

In the end TV presenter Darren McMullen, 41, and his nephew Tristan Dougan, 26, were first to make it to the winning mat in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

However, upon arrival, Darren and Tristan made the selfless decision to not step on the winning mat until the other finalists – Emma and Hayley Watkins and Alli and Angie Simpson – arrived so the prize money could be split between their charities.
