Celebrity Big Brother finally confirms live launch date on ITV

Celebrity Big Brother has confirmed its live launch date for its revival on ITV.

Following the recent civilian series, the star-studded edition of the reality TV giant will kick off with a live launch show on Monday, March 4 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Will Best and AJ Odudu will introduce the cast of celebs and send them into the house, followed by Late & Live over on ITV2.

It’s also been confirmed that the live stream will be back on ITVX, giving viewers the opportunity to watch all the live house action in the early hours of the morning seven nights a week.

In a video posted to social media, Odudu said: “Guys! The wait is almost finally over, because Celebrity Big Brother: The Launch hits our screens at 9pm on Monday 4th March.”

“And it’s gonna be absolutely live,” Best added, “This is gonna be the first time that anyone sees those housemates. I cannot wait, it’s so soon!”

“I am so excited!” Odudu continued. “I don’t know what I am going to wear.”

“We better not wear the same thing, AJ,” Best joked.

Plenty of celebrities have been linked to the first ITV series of CBB, with Drag Race star Cheddar Gorgeous previously telling Digital Spy that they’d love to do it.

“I’d probably do Big Brother because I think it’s quite interesting,” Cheddar said. “I think it gives a lot of opportunity to talk and I like talking and I quite like people.

“So, I feel like that would be a nice one to do because it brings you into a lot of proximity with other people.”
