LOOK: Local celebrities and personalities at Coldplay’s concert at the Philippine Arena

Local celebrities and personalities took some time off from their busy schedules to watch Coldplay in Manila.

The first night of the band’s concert was held on Friday, Jan. 19 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. It will be followed by another show tonight, Jan. 20 in the same venue.

Here are some of the famous faces who watched the Manila show of the international band, who is best known for hit songs like Fix You, Yellow,  The Scientist, and A Sky Full of Stars, among others.

President Bongbong Marcos

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was spotted in the crowd of Coldplay’s first show in the Philippines this year. Local promoter Philippine Concerts shared a photo of the country’s chief executive on X. The Presidential Communications Office later confirmed that he watched the concert along with First Lady Liza Marcos.

Married couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde enjoyed a date night at the band’s PH concert. The actress and TV host posted some snaps and videos of the show on her Instagram stories, which included a photo of her with the love of her life. “Happiness,” she wrote on her entry.

Alexa Ilacad took to her Instagram stories to share her concert experience with her nearest and dearest. She also shared a photo of her during the show.

Isabelle Daza said she “couldn’t get over” Coldplay’s show as she shared some videos of it on her IG stories. She attended the event with her siblings Ava and Raphael.

Bella Racelis compiled clips and photos she took during the concert in one reel. “What a show,” she captioned her IG post, where she also tagged the international band.

In her IG stories, Sam Cruz, the daughter of Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano, posted a video of her having the time of her life as Coldplay sang A Sky Full of Stars. She also shared some photos and videos of the event on the social media platform.
