The sum of all our fears has officially come to fruition.
Sum 41 just announced that their forthcoming double album “Heaven :x: Hell” and global ‘Tour of the Setting Sum’ will be their last.
“Once I heard the music, I was confident enough to say, ‘This is the record I’d like to go out on,’” frontman Deryck Whibley explained in a statement. “We’ve made a double album of pop punk and metal, and it makes sense. It took a long time for us to pave this lane for ourselves, but we did, and it’s unique to us.”
Along the way, the pop-punk icons are slated to drop into Asbury Park, NJ’s Stone Pony on Saturday, May 4 and Brooklyn’s Paramount Theatre on Monday, May 6.
At all shows, they’ll be joined by ska-punk vets The Interrupters.
And if you want to sing along to “Fat Lip,” “In Too Deep,” “Still Waiting,” “Pieces” “The Hell Song” and so many more early ’00s classics with Whibley one more time, you can grab your tickets for the North American leg of the world tour as soon as today.

Sum 41 new album
Set for release on March 29, 2024, “Heaven :x: Hell” will be Sum 41’s eighth and final record.
Comprised of two albums, The Rock Revival called the effort “their most ambitious outing yet,” adding that “‘Heaven’ is ten tracks of snarling, high energy pop punk, while ‘Hell’ consists of ten heavy metal anthems spiked with fret-burning solos, thrashing riffs, and fist-pumping hooks.”

The Interrupters
Formed in 2011, The Interrupters are known for their high-energy, no-frills ska punk.
Most recently, they dropped their fourth studio album “In The Wild” in August 2022.
