Nick Carter’s sister Bobbie Jean found unresponsive in bathroom like brother Aaron

Eerie new details are coming to light following the “sudden” passing of Bobbie Jean Carter, who died on Sunday at the age of 41.

Nick, 43, and Aaron Carter’s sister, was found unresponsive in a bathroom the day she died, in a similar manner to her late brother Aaron according to TMZ.

First responders rushed to Bobbie’s Tampa, Fla. residence on Saturday morning, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. She was declared dead upon arrival to a nearby hospital.

Deputies revealed that Bobbie Jean, who struggled with substance abuse and addiction throughout her life, was on probation for cocaine possession at the time of her passing.

In June she was arrested for retail theft and drug possession after allegedly attempting to steal $55 worth of crafts from a Brooksville, Fla., Hobby Lobby.

However, roommates informed authorities that she had abstained from narcotics since her release from prison.

Following a thorough search of Bobbie Jean’s bedroom and bathroom no narcotics or drug paraphernalia were found and no signs of foul play were discovered.

The shocking news comes just over a year after Bobbie Jean’s brother Aaron was found dead in his bathtub at the age of 34 from accidental drowning after taking alprazolam and difluoroethane, a compressed gas, and 11 years after her sister Leslie Carter died from an overdose at 25

Bobbie Jean’s mother, Jane Carter, released a statement following her daughter’s “sudden” passing.

“I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean; and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time,” she said. “When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.”

“However deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater,” she added, referring to Bobbie Jean’s daughter. “So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious 8-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother.”

Angel Carter Conrad also issued a statement following the death of her late sister.

“To my older sister Bobbie. You had a great sense of humor and a lively spirit. Growing up, I was your baby, and you were my best friend,” Conrad, 36, wrote on Instagram. “Life wasn’t fair to you, that I know. Sometimes, it feels like you didn’t have a shot, no matter what.”

“Experiencing innocence instead of being burdened by trauma, pain, and suffering is incredibly important for children, particularly at such a young age,” Conrad continued. “I know why Leslie, Aaron, and now you ended up in the circumstances that you did. I share that pain we experienced during our childhood and I’m sorry you didn’t have an opportunity for a better life.”

She ended her tribute with a message to Bobbie Jean: “You’re free now.”

The sheriff has initiated a probe into Bobbie Jean’s death emphasizing that her official cause of death hinges on the pending toxicology results from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
