Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is getting candid on her relationship with ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan for the first time since their breakup last month.
The Barstool Sports personality claimed that the 28-year-old flew into a rage when she sang a song by another country superstar — Morgan Wallen.
“One morning I, like, woke up — or I was, like, scrolling TikTok — and ‘Last night we let the liquor talk’ was stuck in my head,” LaPaglia recalled during Thursday’s episode of her “BFFs” podcast, quoting the lyrics to Wallen’s hit “Last Night.”
“I walk up the stairs in the New York apartment, and I’m singing — like, I’m about to make breakfast or something — ‘Last night we let the liquor talk.’ He freaked the f–k out. Like, freaked the f–k out. He could not believe [it],” the podcast host continued.
LaPaglia alleged the “Something in the Orange” artist angrily said to her, “You’re singing another man’s song under my roof, in this house that I own.”
According to the influencer, the incident caused the couple to be in a fight for “a week.”
LaPaglia also shared she was “not really allowed to listen to Noah Kahan” while dating Bryan, who allegedly felt like she liked the “Stick Season” singer “too much.”
She told cohosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richard that “the last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude.”
“I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him,” LaPaglia admitted. “My brain’s rewired and I’m scared to make him mad and last week, I didn’t want to talk about it ’cause I was scared.”
Diving deeper into the alleged abuse, she said that she was in a constant cycle of “build you up, beat you down, apologize over and over.”
“There was always another excuse as to why he was treating me so poorly and why I’m crying myself to sleep every night,” said LaPaglia. “Why he’s screaming at me and then you wake up, it’s the apology, it’s the ‘I’m going to be better like I need you in my life,’ but if you’ve been through this — I don’t expect people to understand emotional abuse if you haven’t been through it. I hope you never have to go through it but if you’ve been there you know what I’m talking about.”
LaPaglia went on to claim that Bryan made the women he was in past relationships with sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to keep them from publicly discussing their experiences with him.
She alleged the country singer’s team offered her $12 million along with a New York apartment to “not talk about the relationship.”
“It came down to the point of I’m not the people before, and I was someone before you, and you made the women before me believe that they had no other choice than to take money from you, sign their experiences away, sign what they went through away,” revealed LaPaglia.
“You get to go skip off and sing your little f—– songs on stage like you’re a good dude. You get to treat people around you like s–t. Sorry, I’m not them. I don’t want your money; I don’t want in two years to buy a f–king house and think, ‘Oh, this is the money from the dude that literally f–king destroyed me and broke me for a year.’ “
The Post has reached out to Bryan’s rep for comment.
LaPaglia and Bryan started dating two months after meeting at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023. Bryan confirmed their split on Instagram on Oct. 22 and asked for fans to give them both privacy.
LaPaglia said she felt “blindsided” that he publicly revealed their split, writing on Instagram Stories that she planned to “hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk.”
