Celebrities and Social Media Stars Who Announced Their Own Deaths

Several social media personalities confirmed their own deaths with posthumously released statements and recorded messages.

Bella Bradford, for her part, recorded a video for her TikTok page ahead of her October 2024 death.

“I have terminal cancer and unfortunately, by now, my life has come to an end, and I’ve passed away,” Bradford, who was 24, said in the footage. “But I wanted to do one final ‘Get Ready With Me’ because I love doing these, and I love fashion. Thank you for following me on this fun journey. I hope you will back on all my videos and find a little bit of joy in your day if you ever needed to feel.”

Paul Harrell, a YouTube star best known for making survivalist videos, recorded a video announcing his own passing several months before it was published in September 2024.

“As I’m recording this, it is December 2023 and I’m giving [my manager] Brad [Nelson] instructions to publish this upon my death,” Harrell, who was 58, said. “So, if you’re watching me, I’m dead.”
