Fuming Joe Scarborough blames racism, misogyny among black and Hispanic voters for Harris’ loss

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough knew exactly who to blame Wednesday morning for Vice President Kamala Harris’ election loss to Donald Trump: racism and misogyny – especially among voters of color. The “Morning Joe” co-anchor and his wife/colleague Mika Brzezinski sat down with the Reverend Al Sharpton for an impassioned post-polling vent session. And they need to say ‘Yes, there is misogyny, but it’s not just misogyny from white men,’” Scarborough opined in the clip shared by the Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra. “It’s misogyny from Hispanic men, it’s misogyny from black men — things we’ve all been talking about — who do not want a woman leading them,” the former GOP congressmen from Florida insisted. Had she been elected, the 60-year-old Harris would have been the first female US president. “The Democratic Party – I’ve always found – when you’re sitting around talking, they love to just vulcanize everybody into these separate groups, and just say ‘Oh, white people don’t like women and black people,’” Scarborough explained. “No!” he exclaimed, adding “it’s time for the Democrats to say … a lot of Hispanic voters have problems with black candidates.” “And with other Hispanics!” piped up Sharpton, 70. MSNBC “Some of the most misogynist things I’ve heard, going on this ‘Get Out the Vote’ tour came from black men,” the activist explained. “So you’re absolutely right, it’s not simplistic.” The bull session left critics outraged. “Do they have any idea how ridiculous they sound? Is everything and everyone racist?” self-proclaimed “California conservative” Elizabeth Burns replied to Saavedra’s X post. “Let them keep talking like this,” another user shrugged. “They’re gonna permanently drive away huge blocs of minority voters.” Some commenters accused Scarborough of racism. “So according to  @JoeNBC the people of color did not follow the directions of their elite white overlords?” asked one X user. “I think this is the definition of racism.” A second asked: “How is it that wealthy Whites like @JoeNBC think they should decide for minorities what is or isn’t racist?”
