Angela Lansbury was a talented British-American actress, singer, and producer who was celebrated for her long career in film and theater. Born on October 16, 1925, in London, she moved to the U.S. during World War II. She made her film debut in Gaslight, earning an Academy Award nomination. Most people know her as Jessica Fletcher from Murder, She Wrote, which aired from 1984 to 1996. Angela also had a successful theater career, winning multiple Tony Awards. She died on October 11, 2022, just days before her 97th birthday.
