Here’s Why Jason Momoa Was Named As The “Worst Celebrity Experience” By A YouTube Streamer

Jason Momoa has been accused of unprofessional behavior on the set of the upcoming video game adaptation A Minecraft Movie.

Slated to release next April, A Minecraft Movie stars Jason alongside fellow actors Jack Black, Emma Myers, and Danielle Brooks. Much of the plot details are largely unknown thus far, though the initial teaser trailer was met with ample criticism earlier this month.

Rachell Marie Hofstetter, better known by her username Valkyrae, is one of the most popular streamers on YouTube. In a recent interview with JasonTheWeen, Valkyrae was asked about her “worst celebrity or streamer experience.”

“I have a cameo in the Minecraft movie that’s coming out,” she replied. “I would have to say Jason Momoa. I just saw him mistreat some of the crew, and it was pretty disappointing. It was after a very intense scene, and it was a very emotional scene, maybe he was still in character, I don’t know.”

“I was just surprised about how he treated some of the crew,” she continued. “He was just really mad at them that they weren’t doing something right, setting up the shot. He was just angry, really mad, and yelling. I was like, this is not a good working environment, I would not be happy working under these conditions.”

It’s not the first time speculation has swirled around the actor’s on-set behavior. Notes from Amber Heard’s therapist suggested that Jason would sometimes show up drunk and late on the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which a spokesperson for DC denied. In 2018, Amber mentioned that Jason would rip out the final pages of her books when he thought she wasn’t giving him enough attention.
