Taylor Swift wastes no time dancing at MTV VMAs 2024 — see her seatmates

Taylor Swift’s dance moves never go out of style.

The 34-year-old arrived at MTV’s Video Music Awards 2024 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on Wednesday, and after a quick red carpet appearance, she dashed inside.

Swift channeled her inner “Clueless” in a yellow and black plaid dress with black shorts, gloves and boots. She wore her blonde hair down in waves and opted for a dark makeup look.

The songstress was quick to bust a move to Eminem’s opening number. Swift, who was sat next to her “Fortnight” collaborator Post Malone, danced with Jack Antonoff’s wife, Margaret Qualley.

Though she won’t be rocking the stage tonight, there are rumors that the “You Belong With Me” might perform with Sabrina Carpenter or Shawn Mendes, according to Tribune.

Leading the nomination board with 10 nods, Swift, 34, can make history tonight by being named the artist with the most VMA awards. She currently has 23 awards under her belt.

Swift will surpass Beyonce, who currently has 30 VMA awards, if she does.

Swift is nominated for 12 awards this year, including “Video of the Year,” “Artist of the Year” and “Song of the Year” for her 12th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

This could be the second time this year the “Cruel Summer” singer will make music history. During the 2024 Grammy Awards, Swift became the first artist to win “Album of the Year” four times.

Over the weekend, Swift and her boyfriend, football player Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, were spotted all over NYC. The pair attended model Karen Elson’s wedding at Electric Lady Studios in NYC on Sept. 7th while wearing designs from Vivienne Westwood and Christian Louboutin.

On Sunday, Swift and Kelce attended the U.S. Open Men’s Finals between American Taylor Fritz and Italy’s Jannik Sinner.

The pair were later joined by Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany.

Kelce is not with the pop star tonight due to in-season practice schedules with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The team is scheduled to face off against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 15. Kickoff time for the Week 2 game is set to start at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Kelce did send his girlfriend love and support during the latest episode of the “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce” podcast.

“Hopefully Taylor can walk away with a few, she’s nominated for about ten of those things tonight,” Travis said on the podcast. “Hopefully she can walk away with some moon men. Those are always one of the cooler trophies. The space guys.”

Her VMA appearance comes one day after publicly endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the upcoming presidential election on Instagram after the debate between Harris and Donald Trump.

“Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight,” she started to write in her caption. “If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most.”

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift continued.

Back in October 2020, the “Bad Blood” artist first shared that she would vote for President Biden and Harris.

“I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election. Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs,” Swift told Vogue Magazine.
