George Lopez slams J.Lo for posting photo of ‘her ass’ amid divorce from ‘miserable’ Ben Affleck

It’s Lopez vs Lopez.

George Lopez slammed Jennifer Lopez for posting thirst traps on Instagram amid her divorce from Ben Affleck.

“You look at Ben Affleck — you never seen one dude more miserable and being married,” the comedian, 63, said on Thursday’s episode of iHeartRadio’s “Politickin’” podcast with hosts Gavin Newsom, Marshawn Lynch and Doug Hendrickson.

George continued, “And Jennifer Lopez posting a tweet … a selfie with her ass, it’s almost like, next!”

The “Lopez Tonight” alum believes that the singer, 55, “can’t survive” the backlash she received for posting the mirror selfie while still legally married to Ben, 52.

“The minute their divorce isn’t even final, they’re already taking pictures of their ass. Like, next!” George joked.

Last week, the singer shared a snap to Instagram showing off her butt in a cheeky one-piece bathing suit alongside a slew of other pictures from the summer.

She captioned the carousel, “Oh, it was a summer.”

J.Lo’s summertime recap proved the star remains unbothered a week after she filed for divorce without an attorney on the anniversary of their second wedding ceremony. She listed April 26 as the date of separation.

The pair allegedly did not sign a prenuptial agreement. The artist also did not request spousal support and asked the judge to deny Affleck’s support.

The estranged couple tied the knot in July 2022 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas before saying “I do” for a second time at Affleck’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia, the following month.

This was the second act for the former couple, who first tried to make a romance work in the early aughts.

The pair dated in 2002 and announced their breakup two years later in 2004. They both married and had children with other people, but ultimately rekindled their romance in 2021.

Affleck has three children — Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, 12 — from his previous marriage to Jennifer Garner. The “Daredevil” co-stars were married from 2005 to 2015.

Lopez, for her part, shares twins Emme and Max, 16, with her ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2011.

Reports surfaced amid the exes’ divorce about how hard the Grammy winner allegedly tried to make things work the second time around.

A source told People that the “Let’s Get Loud” singer “did spend a lot of time making sure Ben was happy and had everything he needed.”

“The way she cared for him was almost childlike,” the insider continued. “Friends constantly reminded her that she’s not responsible for his feelings. He’s very moody and dark at times. Jennifer appreciates life in another way. She’s very grateful for everything.”

The source also claimed that Affleck had “erratic mood swings,” which contributed to their split.

“The truth is there was a great deal of love but also unfortunately what became clear were Ben’s erratic mood swings that he couldn’t hide from the press, as much as he tried to,” the insider claimed. “You could see the erratic behavior, the giant mood swings.”

The “Argo” star would allegedly go from “being incredibly happy and warm — the best light that emanated from him” to “the deepest, darkest behavior.”

“I think he was signaling a message to the press,” the source told the outlet. “But when the mood swings and the big highs and big lows informed a toxicity that was pervasive, no one can help you — you have to help yourself.”

“But I would not be so bold to say there isn’t love — of course there is,” concluded the insider. “The world was rooting for them, but who he said he was and who he turned out to be were two different people.”
