Matthew Perry’s last words before his death revealed

There are two months left until the first anniversary of Matthew Perry‘s death and some parts of his passing have not yet been clarified.

The famous actor was found dead in his Los Angeles home, more specifically in the hot tub. Although toxicological tests were not initially considered necessary, the autopsy detailed that the actor did have drugs in his system.

On Thursday, August 15, 2024, five people were charged in Perry‘s death for administering ketamine, including his personal assistant and two doctors.

“They knew that what they were doing put Matthew Perry in great danger, but they did it anyway,” said U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada at a press conference.

One of these defendants, Kenneth Iwamasa, was the recipient of Matthew Perry‘s last request before he passed away in the hot tub of his home.

According to the assistant, the performer asked him to “inject him with a strong one,” a reference to another dose of ketamine shortly before he was found dead.

According to Iwamasa, Perry would ask him for three ketamine injections a day and his dependence on ketamine was at its peak.

Documents available to the prosecution state that Perry asked his assistant for a dose at around 8:30 a.m., about four hours later he again requested an injection while watching a movie, and finally the third dose while preparing the hot tub.

Iwamasa then left the house to run some errands and when he returned, Perry had already passed away.

The prosecution notes that Perry was administering ketamine by prescription, but that his last properly administered injection was two weeks before his death.
