Elle King went after her celebrity father during an interview with Bunnie Xo on her podcast.
The country music star put actor Rob Schneider on blast for his anti-LGBTQ stance.
“You are talking out of your (expletive) and you’re talking (expletive) about drag and you know, anti-gay rights,” King said, per Variety. “And it’s like, get (expletive).”
King said her relationship with her father has never been good, dating back to when she was a kid. She shared Schneider sent her to “fat camp” as a child.
“He’s just not nice,” she said. “You can want someone to change so much. You can’t control anyone else’s actions and you can’t control people’s feelings. All you can control is how you react and what you do with your feelings.”
King made headlines in January when she admitted she was “hammered” during her cover of “Marry Me” at the “Opry Goes Dolly” show in honor of Dolly Parton’s birthday.
As a result, the Grad Ole Opry issued an apology.
“We deeply regret and apologize for the language that was used during last night’s second Opry performance,” the Opry posted on “X,” the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
The apology was in response to the complaint from a audience member who complained about how King “ruined the night with her horrible, drunk, and profane performance.”
