Ryan Reynolds didn’t pose with his wife, Blake Lively, at the London premiere of her buzzy new film It Ends With Us, but, rest assured, he ended his night with her. The couple was photographed holding hands while arriving at the celebrity hotspot Chiltern Firehouse.
Even somewhat off-duty, the pair dressed up for their big week celebrating Lively’s new release. This time around, they chose more casual ensembles featuring complementary earth tones.
Lively, in particular, stepped out in a full look from Thom Browne’s 2024 couture collection. She wore a button-down, tie, and pleated miniskirt with a metallic jacket adorned with florals—one of many flower-themed outfits she has been sporting throughout her It Ends With Us press tour, as a nod to her character being a florist.
Reynolds did a little statement dressing himself in a striped V-neck vest, paired with a white T-shirt and khakis.
Earlier that night, Lively posed on the red carpet in one of her most impressive ensembles yet: a Tamara Ralph gown with a dramatic red wrap.
Both Lively and Reynolds are busy promoting projects; Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters late last month, and Lively had a special surprise role in that movie.
Earlier this week, the actress told E! that Reynolds contributed to It Ends With Us, too, by writing some dialogue for a big rooftop scene. “He works on everything I do,” she said. “I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine and mine are his.”
She also shared a little anecdote with People about their early days dating and the level of thoughtfulness Reynolds put into their relationship then. She said, “When my husband and I first got together, he would send me a bouquet of flowers every week, but he would always send a card and it would just be a sentence of something that had happened that week. Something funny or emotional that one of us said. It was just a little quote of the week. It was such a beautiful, romantic thing.”
