Hollywood Harris: Left Wing Celebrities All-In For Kamala | NewsRadio 740 KTRH | KTRH Local Houston and Texas News

Vice President Kamala Harris has enjoyed a honeymoon with the mainstream media and political pundits since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee last week, but nowhere has her coronation been bigger than in left-wing Hollywood. The celebrity class that had grown tepid on Joe Biden is now all-in for Kamala. Support, endorsements and millions in cash are pouring in from A-listers in music, movies, television, and every aspect of show business. There is even a group of celebrities dubbing themselves White Dudes for Harris, including actors Jeff Bridges, Sean Astin and Mark Hamill.

Barely two weeks into the Harris campaign, this is likely just the beginning. “She’s already gotten the New York Magazine cover calling it Camelot,” says Angie Wong, political analyst and head of the Capitol Hill Fight Club PAC. “You’re gonna start seeing the documentaries about her come out, you’re going to see all of the media come out, because that is now part of the DNC machine.”

“The machine is going to carry her all the way to November 5th.”

Despite evidence that wokeism has hurt business in Hollywood in recent years, Tinseltown is doubling and tripling down on efforts to keep Democrats in charge in D.C. Whether or not the strategy will work remains to be seen. It worked for Barack Obama in 2008, but not so much for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time Hollywood celebrities overestimated their power and influence. “They’re going to bring out George Clooney, they’re going to bring out Julia Roberts, they’re going to bring out Oprah, because that’s what they know…that is how they know how to win,” says Wong. “And they’ve got a great little puppet to do that for them.”

“Is that really going to get American voters excited? Maybe,” she continues. “But I think you can only head-fake for so long before the truth really comes out.”
