I’m A Celebrity 2024 line-up rumours including stars from Strictly and The Traitors

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here 2024 is returning this autumn and we can’t wait to see what stars are lined up for the jungle.

What we do know is even Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have called for no politicians in the jungle in 2024. Last December, the Geordie duo were asked whether the then-prime minister Rishi Sunak would be a good fit for the ITV show. Dec told viewers: “I think we do a year without any politicians.” To which, Ant was in complete agreement with.

Arguably the most controversial signing Nigel Farage led to some fans boycotting I’m A Celebrity last year. His appearance followed on from former Health Secretary Matt Hancock causing a stir in the jungle the year before. Both politicians reached the final of the reality series but this year it seems there won’t be any political personalities.

Last year, it was former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson who was crowned King of the Jungle. The jungle campmates are always from all walks of showbiz life. We take a look at the stars rumoured to be jetting off for the experience of a lifetime.

It’s rumoured former Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice could be waltzing his way into the Oz jungle this year. There’s even talk of a 100,000 fee. Pernice left Strictly this year, so he will be free at the same time as I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here for the first time since he first starred on the BBC dance show in 2015.

The dancer has denied the “bullying” allegations made by his former celebrity partner Amanda Abbington, who quit Strictly early and later claimed his methods of teaching were “militant”. Pernice has said he is “looking forward to clearing his name” as BBC investigate.

Depending on the outcome of the investigation, Pernice could be heading for the jungle. A TV insider told MailOnline: “As long as those at the top are satisfied that Giovanni isn’t a bully and didn’t behave inappropriately during Strictly, they will be signing him up. They are very aware of how much Strictly viewers will miss him, he’s a true fans’ favourite, so they hope he will draw in big audiences.

“Just imagine him on I’m A Celeb, he would be a favourite to win and they know he would be very good value in the jungle.”

The Traitors champion Harry Clark was tipped for I’m A Celebrity earlier this year. Gripping scenes in The Traitors saw Harry win £95,000 and Mollie storm off as she found out her friend was a traitor. Shortly after the show finished, a TV source told The Sunday Mirror newspaper in February that the star had been approached by casting directors for the reality series.

Only recently, Clark revealed his next TV move on Lorraine. Lorraine Kelly said he would be “brilliant” on I’m A Celebrity and Clark couldn’t hide his excitement. “Oh yeah that would be at the top of my list,” he replied. “I would love to do it.”

After Dec was spotted laughing with Phillip Schofield, there has been speculation that the former This Morning star could be heading Down Under. In recent months, Schofield has made a slow return to the limelight with an appearance at the F1 with the stars as well as a notable return to social media with pictures of his dog. Previously, he has said “never say never” to the jungle.

Schofield stepped down from This Morning in May last year after he admitted he had an “unwise but not illegal affair” with a younger male colleague. Last year, the presenter said he thought his career was “over”. “I have to talk about television in the past tense, which breaks my heart,” he told The BBC. “I have lost everything… What am I going to do with my days?”

Yahoo has reached out to ITV’s representatives for further comment.
