Social Media Gurus Launch Referral-Only Agency @Darlington for Celebrities, Influencers

There’s a new social media agency on the scene.

Chloe Sappern and Lydia Berry have launched @darlington, a social-first agency designed to offer “an individualized and strategic approach to creative storytelling” for the digital presence of celebrities, influencers and tastemakers. The referral-only agency, with bicoastal services, opens doors with a roster of clients that includes Sofia Richie Grainge, Miranda Kerr, Megan Roup, Serena Kerrigan, Kate Love, Emily DiDonato, Cameron Rogers, Liv Perez and others.

Fun fact: Like so many online collaborations, the origins of @darlington can be traced back to the DMs. Sappern and Berry became internet friends after a DM exchange that led to the discovery that they were leading seemingly parallel lives, with one in New York and the other in Los Angeles. Sappern visited Los Angeles, staying at a local residence, and wound up meeting Berry only to discover that they were neighbors on Darlington Avenue. The street inspired the company name.

“We knew as soon as we connected that there was a significant gap in the social media industry,” Sappern explains. “While we were both working independently in the space, joining forces allows us to offer even more comprehensive bicoastal services to our existing and new clients, greatly expanding our capabilities.”

Adds Berry: “By teaming up, we’re able to offer much more expertise than we could individually. We provide a holistic approach to content, from storytelling and execution to visuals and curation, all with performance-driven tactics.”

Berry comes to @darlington with more than seven years of experience across content creation, photography, design and creative direction. She started her career at Dear Media Podcast Network, where she led a content team, steered social media growth and developed strategy for show launches from Kristin Cavallari and Tracee Ellis Ross. Since 2023, she had been freelancing full-time as a creative brand builder for brands and celebrities.

Sappern, a graduate of Cornell University, previously held positions with NBCUniversal and ViacomCBS before branching out on her own with the launch of Chloe Sappern Creative. The referral-only social media agency worked with talent including influencers and celebrities to shape and strategize digital presence.
