Starry line-up announced for Celeb MasterChef

The line-up for this year’s Celebrity MasterChef has been revealed – and it looks set to be a very starry series.

Returning to BBC One this summer (a more specific release date is yet to be announced), this will be the 19th series of the celebrity version of the popular high-stakes culinary competition show.

Last year, we saw Wynne Evans – perhaps better known as Gio Compario from the Go Compare adverts – take home the crown. Now, this year, twenty new celebrities have signed up in the hopes of following in his victorious footsteps, including athletes, actors, comedians and entertainers.

Under the watchful eyes of judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace, over six weeks the twenty celebs will be put through their paces in the MasterChef kitchen, presented with increasingly intense culinary-based challenges to take on and conquer.

But who will come out on top and take home the Celebrity MasterChef trophy?
