Boston Celtics icon Paul Pierce was among the team’s former players who were at TD Garden to watch the C’s defeat the Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, according to a list shared by the league.Pierce, a Basketball Hall of Famer, is a former Celtics captain who played the first 15 of his 19 NBA seasons with Boston. He was named NBA Finals MVP when the C’s won their last title in 2008.Other former Celtics who were at the Garden included one of Pierce’s former teammates on that 2008 championship team, Leon Powe; Boston native Dana Barros, who played parts of six seasons with the Celtics; M.L.
