Ex-Celebrity Bodyguard Claims White Folks in Hollywood Drain Wealth of Black Celebrities | Watch

*In a recent interview, Rashon Khan, former bodyguard to Richard Pryor and Flip Wilson, claims Hollywood harbors a nefarious agenda aimed at draining the wealth of prominent Black celebrities.

Speaking to Comedy Hype last month, Khan claimed to have observed the rapid depletion of Flip Wilson’s wealth following his death in 1999.

“White people literally took everything. They took Flip’s children’s clothes. They took everything,” Khan said, MadameNoire reports.

“…You think while you young, you making this money, you got it. They not waiting while you young, they waiting for you to get sick and you dead,” he added.

Khan claims white people had control over Wilson’s will and finances, and they removed all of the comic’s “personal belongings” from his residence days after his passing. They also mistreated his children and restricted access to his home.

Flip may have been susceptible to exploitation due to his reliance on white professionals and individuals outside his close-knit circle for estate and wealth management, as per Khan’s assertions.

Khan claimed that none of Flip’s family members were privy to his wealth or possessed the knowledge to protect it after his passing.

“You ain’t let nobody Black know you’ve got it. You certainly not letting nobody in your family [know you] got it. We are in the understanding of this is in the will, but you put the enemy in charge of your will. That’s who do the paperwork,” Khan explained.

“Your kids don’t know. In your mind, they’ll get this in the end, but they don’t know. Why not let them know, now, so that you can continue to guide them while you know.”
