The producer, rapper, and entrepreneur Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, is in a lot of legal trouble for a string of sexual assault allegations against him, and with the most recent events unfolding, it looks like the odds are against him.
According to TMZ, Diddy’s associate, Brendan Paul, has been charged with one felony count of drug possession, which could spill more legal troubles for the rap mogul, as he worked for Combs as his main personal assistant.
Back in March, Paul was arrested at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. During a search of his bag, federal agents allegedly found cocaine and marijuana candy. At the same time, the feds raided Diddy’s mansions in Miami and L.A.. Paul was taken into custody following his arrest.
Things get ugly for Diddy
The 54-year-old rapper/producer stands accused of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and rape in a wave of civil lawsuits, and his residences in Miami and Los Angeles were raided late last month.
Anyone close to Combs has come under scrutiny in recent weeks as investigators continue to work. Earlier this month, one of Diddy’s former romantic partners made a public statement about her role in the investigation in an attempt to clear things up after she was named in one of the lawsuits facing Diddy.
Caresha Brownlee — better known as the rapper Yung Miami — publicly denied ever working for ex-boyfriend Combs as a prostitute, a declaration that comes after she was named in a $30 million lawsuit as one of three women that Diddy “bragged” about paying a monthly stipend in exchange for sex work. The lawsuit also claims that Brownlee transported a drug called “pink cocaine” across state lines as a favor to Diddy in 2023.
