A recent live news broadcast in Bolivia was interrupted by a small black dog relieving itself on the anchor desk, What’s the Jam reports.
The unidentified canine was brought on set to help promote pet adoption.
Not missing its moment to shine, the pup shocked the Channel RTP crew by arching its back and delivering a package of its own in front of a horrified newswoman.
The clip, which was shared online Monday, shows the anchor petting the newshound as it stands on the white desk in front of her.
As she encourages the audience to consider adopting a stray, the animal adds to her workload.
The flustered anchor looks away and nervously shuffles her papers before her co-anchor hands her some paper towels.
The video drew yelps from viewers.
“The pooch doing his thing and marking his territory,” one howled.
“Even the dog realizes what journalism has become lately,” another deadpanned.
Others presumed that the pooch was positively “nervous” or “consumed too many treats” on set but managed to “steal the show.”
