Dr. Paul Nassif Offers Plastic Surgery Warning for Gypsy Rose

  • Botched star Dr. Nassif issued a warning to Gypsy Rose following her nose job
  • The famous Munchausen’s by Proxy victim went under the knife late last week
  • Blanchard filed for divorce this week from her husband, Ryan Anderson, 37

Botched star Dr. Paul Nassif has issued a stark warning for Gypsy Rose Blanchard following news of her recent rhinoplasty.

The Munchausen’s by Proxy victim made headlines nearly a decade ago after she plead guilty to the second-degree murder of her mom Dee Dee Blanchard, who was killed by Gypsy’s boyfriend at the time, Nicholas Godejohn.

In December, Blanchard was released from Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri after serving eight and a half years.

Since then, she’s been trying to spread awareness about her story – but now seems to be taking time for some self-care as she went under the knife late last week for a nose job.

However, Dr. Nassif is urging her to be careful and to not get addicted to the plastic look.

He told TMZ that some patients can get carried away after just one taste of a new look and go down a ‘rabbit hole.’

Dr. Nassif explained that some have multiple procedures that will ‘whittle down’ the look of their nose and other parts of the face – but hopes that’s not the case for Blanchard.

‘If it is done properly, with the right patient, then hopefully she’s gonna have a fantastic outcome and like her results,’ Dr. Nassif told TMZ.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband also added that he doesn’t think there’s any reason to be concerned about the timing of her procedure, after the interviewer pointed out that some think Blanchard is doing ‘too much, too soon’ after her prison release.

‘I mean, listen, if she wanted it done, doesn’t matter when she gets it, so, you know, whatever makes her feel good,’ Dr. Nassif said.

And, although Blanchard has not given a reveal of her new nose, she did share a picture of herself all bandaged up post-surgery with the outlet.

She also told People after the fact that the procedure ‘went great’ and that she’s just resting up at home.

‘I come in and out of sleep. I was in pain at first but I am on pain medicine,’ she told the magazine.

‘I can’t breathe through my nose because of the packing but that comes off on the 10th,’ she continued. ‘I want to see it so bad!’

The nose job was done by Dr. Jeffrey J. Joseph in Lafayette, Louisiana.

He ranks as a top facial plastic surgeon on Castle Connolly – a position he’s held since 2018.

It turns out that a rhinoplasty was something that Blanchard had wanted for a while now, according to People.

The New Orleans native wanted to change the look of her nose and make it a bit more ‘feminine,’ her close friend, Nadiya Vizier, said.

And, the good news for fans is that it will all be documented for Blanchard’s Lifetime docuseries, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, which is set to begin premiering on the network in June.

The series will show her journey as she adjusts to life as a free woman.

Blanchard’s case was a heart-wrenching yet strange one, as it was discovered shortly thereafter her mom’s murder that Blanchard had been a victim of Munchausen’s by Proxy for the majority of her life.

Her mom made up serious illnesses throughout Blanchard’s life in order to garner sympathy from others, like leukemia and muscular dystrophy – diseases that she never even had.

Dee Dee also put Blanchard in a wheelchair and shaved her head, among other

She was granted early parole, which led to her December release.
