From Jacob Elordi to Simu Liu: This restaurant in Toronto is a celebrity favourite

There’s an endless list of Toronto restaurants to check out but one of them just happens to be a favourite among the celebrities that visit Toronto. If you want to dine like the rich and famous then PAI is the place to be and here’s who’s been there.

PAI has two Toronto locations, one downtown and one midtown, serving up Northern Thai cuisine!

Finn Wolfhard 

The Canadian “Stranger Things” star made a stop at PAI during a trip to Toronto, supporting the Northern Thai spot and his Canadian roots.

Oscar Issac 

So nice he went twice! Actor Oscar Isaac has been spotted at PAI two times in the last year including with fellow “Frankenstein” cast and crew members Mia Goth, Charles Dance, Christoph Waltz and Guillermo del Toro. 

Jacob Elordi 

Jacob Elordi may have been part of the “Frankenstein” cast’s visit but we’re giving him a separate shout-out.

The actor visited PAI as recently as March 31st, 2024 so if you’re trying to spot a celeb, now is the time!

Alexander Skarsgard

Alexander Skarsgard has appeared in Succession, True Blood, Tarzan and so much more.

He was also recently at PAI in Toronto, stopping in early February 2024.

M. Night Shyamalan

Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan stopped by PAI with director Guillermo del Toro – talk about an epic boys’ night out. 

Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors paid a visit to PAI and it’s safe to say it may be a team favourite.

Raptors stars Grady Dick and Scottie Barnes were among the crew that stopped by PAI!

Simu Liu 

Hi Ken! “Barbie” star and Canadian actor Simu Liu has visited PAI more than once and has even shouted the restaurant out in interviews.

Annie Murphy

“Schitt’s Creek” star Annie Murphy is among the celebrities that love PAI and there’s nothing “Ew, David,” about it!

Ethan Peck

“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” star Ethan Peck stopped by PAI while filming in Toronto back in September.
