Hometown heroes Paul Rudd, Rob Riggle, Jason Sudeikis, David Keochner, Eric Stonestreet, and Heidi Gardner return home, accompanied by a team of fellow celebrities to raise money for Children’s Mercy. Tickets for the event go on sale this week.

Big Slick started 15 years ago as a celebrity poker tournament hosted and founded by Riggle, Rudd, and Sudeikis. Over the years, the event has transformed into a multi-day weekend—This year’s featuring a celebrity softball game, along with a party and comedy show.

Over the years, Big Slick has raised over $21 million for pediatric cancer research at Children’s Mercy. The money raised by this event helps ensure that young patients battling cancer are able to receive the newest and greatest treatments and medications in pediatric oncology.

All celebrity attendees will participate in the softball game, as well as the comedy show and party. The Big Slick Celebrity Softball Game will take place at Kauffman Stadium, Friday, May 31. The game will be played prior to the Royals/Padres game later in the evening. Those with tickets to the May 31 Royal’s game will also have access to the celebrity softball game. The Big Slick Party & Show will be hosted at the T-Mobile Center Saturday, June 1, and will be the main event of the weekend.

Ticket presale for the Big Slick Party & Show will open up Tuesday, March 19, at 10 a.m. Presale will only be available to Big Slick insiders and email subscribers, and you can sign up to join the list today here. Tickets will become available to the general public Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m.

Select VIP tickets will be available that can include a variety of upgrades such as: hall of fame suite tickets, dugout suite seats at the baseball game, and VIP pre-party access for the Big Slick Party & Show. Those willing to donate as much as $5,000 will receive the chance to attend a private cocktail party Thursday, May 30, with all participating celebrities.

For those interested in attending the Big Slick Celebrity Softball Game, tickets can be obtained through the regular purchase of a ticket to the Royals/Padres game that will be played later in the day. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets through the Big Slick KC’s website, or the MLB’s website, so that a portion of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the cause.

Previous featured celebrity guests include: Will Ferrell, Weird Al Yankovic, Finn Wolfhard, and our very own Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. Information regarding the 2024 celebrity guests/performers will be announced the weekend prior to the event, via Big Slick channels.
