Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed the surprising celebrity her ex-husband wanted her to date if he had died during their marriage.
The 49-year-old radio host admitted on Tuesday morning’s Kyle and Jackie O show that her ex Lee Henderson, whom she married in 2003 before their split in 2018, wanted her to date a well-known Aussie TV personality.
Jackie recalled her former husband telling her he’d want to be with this particular celebrity because he knew ‘he would be a good guy’ for her.
‘He said Dr. Chris Brown!’ Jackie excitedly told her co-host Kyle Sandilands.
‘Because he’s a vet, he’s caring, a nice guy. We love animals… saving animals.’
Kyle, initially shocked with the revelation, later agreed with Lee that the hunky Bondi Vet was a good match for Jackie.
‘Chris Brown is a handsome man. He’s a very nice person,’ he said.
Jackie has been single since divorcing her ex-husband Lee Henderson in 2018.
Last month, the radio star opened up about the struggles she’s faced with loneliness on the dating scene.
Speaking with fans at Luke McLeod’s book launch for Everyday Enlightenment, the radio titan admitted she is ‘desperate’ to find love and companionship once more.
She explained she had lunch with McLeod last year when they got onto the topic of her love life and how she felt she was ‘missing something’.
Jackie went on to tell her fans that Luke gave her a piece of advice in that moment which ‘changed my life’.
He said she was giving off too much ‘desperate energy’, and if she really wanted to attract love in her life, then she needed to be grateful for what she already has.
The Hendersons met in the year 2000, married in 2003, welcomed Kitty, now 12, in late 2010, and announced their separation in October 2018.
They have since finalised their divorce and remain on friendly terms as they co-parent their daughter.
While Jackie has not dated anyone since her split from Lee, the British photographer Lee has moved on with jujitsu instructor Gabriella Motta.
The former Popstars host was previously married to English radio presenter ‘Ugly Phil’ O’Neil for three years until their split in 1999.
