Society beauties and celebrities stepped out in their black tie finery for a ball at Blenheim Palace tonight – among them were Princess Beatrice and Edo Mapelli Mozzi.
The event was held at 18th-century Oxfordshire pile, with money raised going in aid of the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Among the royal couple, reality star and McVities heir Jamie Laing attended the high society event along with his wife Sophie Habboo.
They were joined by Lady Alexandra Spencer-Churchill, Naiara Bras, and many others.
The black tie event saw men don dark suits with bowties, meanwhile, the women sported fancy frocks.
Among the elegant outfits were Lady Alexandra Spencer-Churchill in a black trouser suit, and Lily Lewis, in a gingham frock.
The organisers of the event promised as ‘unforgettable evening’, which started with your arrival at the Palace, before reaching the drinks reception.
At the reception, which took place in the Great Hall of the 18th-century Oxfordshire mansion, guests sipped sparkling wine from Kent’s Gusbourne Estate, whose bottles sell for up to £59 a pop.
Following drink, guests made their way into the Long Library for the evening.
There, they would enjoy a three-course meal and wine, as well as entertainment.

According to the event details: ‘The enchanting long library is a stunning backdrop for an electric atmosphere with entertainment from MC Jamie Laing and expert auctioneer and Chairman of Sotheby’s, Lord Harry Dalmeny.
‘With superb food served by celebrity chefs accompanied by some of the very best wines, we really hope that everyone lucky enough to be at the event, will make this another record-breaking year for Starlight, helping us to support every child in hospital to live every day fully even when they are sick.’
The funds raised from the event go towards the charity’s hospital play and distraction services and its programme of events and experiences for seriously ill children.
The event was organised by a committee of society movers and shakers including the Marchioness of Blandford and Thomas Van Straubenzee, a close friend of Prince William and Prince Harry.
