Sharon Osbourne slammed James Corden, Anna Wintour and Ellen DeGeneres in a preview clip of Thursday’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother.
The former X Factor judge, 71, had some choice words for some of her fellow celebrities as she recalled some of her A-list encounters.
Speaking with Louis Walsh and Gary Goldsmith, Sharon admitted she thinks James is a name dropper and called Anna ‘the C-word’.
Chatting with Sharon and Louis, Gary said: ‘When my friends talk about people they know or people they’ve met, we would always take the mick and say, “well if you drop the names, I’ll pick them up.”‘
Sharon replied: ‘I’ll tell you who does that, James Corden. He does that all the time.’
The star claimed James likes to tell people what designer clothes he owns and she also thinks he ‘played the L.A. game’ when he left the UK for Hollywood.
She said: ‘I go to him, “I really like your shoes,” and he goes, “Yeah, Stella McCartney.” I’m like, I didn’t ask you who made them, I just said I like your shoes. He played the L.A. game really well.’
Louis said: ‘Kissing all the right people. Anna Wintour, mwah, mwah.’
Sharon replied: ‘Oh she loves him, loves him. But who loves Anna Wintour? I think she’s the C-word.’
‘Yeah, she is,’ Louis agreed. ‘And Ellen DeGeneres?’
Sharon then mimed vomiting at the mention of the American comedian’s name.
Anna has a famously aloof public persona that has built up over the years and previously earned the nickname ‘Nuclear Wintour’ for allegedly being difficult to work with.
Miranda Priestly, the feared fashion boss in The Devil Wears Prada, is widely believed to be based on the Vogue editor.
James previously labelled a ‘tiny cretin of a man’ by a New York restaurateur who banned him after claiming the British talk show host yelled ‘like crazy’ at staff over an omelette and fries. The comedian later apologised for the incident.
Ellen previously faced several employees of her talk show accusing her of fostering a toxic work environment and turning a blind eye to bullying by executives. Her show ended in 2022 after 19 seasons.
On Wednesday’s episode, fans were left in stitches at Sharon being allowed to sleep in until 12.30pm despite being paid £100,000 per day.
The X Factor icon is the show’s first ‘celebrity lodger’ as she will stay in the house for just one week.
And along with that privilege she has been given a private bedroom. In Wednesday’s episode Sharon didn’t receive the same mandatory wake-up call as the other housemates.
After sitting and doing her make-up at her dresser, Sharon arrived into the living room to cheers from the other housemates greeting her good morning.
Fans of the show were quick to share their amusement at Sharon not having to follow the same rules as the other housemates.
‘Big Brother spending half of their budget on Sharon just for her to wake up at midday and do nothing,’ one person said on X, formerly Twitter.
‘Sharon getting £100k a day to roll out of bed at 12pm and stand about all day looking pretty, what a queen,’ said another.
A third wrote: ‘Mate Sharon is only starting to put on makeup at 12:30pm. Worse sleep habits that a teenager.’
Many praised Sharon for her sleeping habits, with one saying: ‘Loving Sharon having a good old sleep in! Why not!’
Another person said: ‘Sharon: “I want £500k, a private bedroom, no alarm, I’ll only stay for five days, I will not be taking part in tasks, and I wanna talk to Ozzy on the phone every day.” – ICON.’
But others were not so impressed. ‘So Sharon is allowed to sleep in? Favouritism!’ cried another.
