While they have maintained a close bond throughout their time working together, it wasn’t until July 2021 that the paparazzi captured a moment that added fuel to the existing rumors. At a stop light, photos surfaced of the two sharing a kiss, providing a bit more fuel to the speculation surrounding their relationship. Despite the increased attention, the couple has chosen to keep their personal lives relatively private. However, before Holland, Zendaya dated other Hollywood celebrities as well.
Jacob Elordi
Jacob Elordi, known for his role in the HBO series Euphoria, was initially linked romantically with his co-star in August 2019. The on-screen high school rivals, whose characters shared intense dynamics, seemed to extend their connection off-screen during a vacation in Athens, Greece. Their connection continued as they celebrated Thanksgiving together with Elordi’s family in Australia just three months later.
However, their off-screen romance was short-lived, lasting only a few months. Despite moving on with other partners, Zendaya and Elordi have maintained a friendly relationship and continue to share the screen in Euphoria.
Odell Backham Jr.
Back in 2016, rumors were swirling about Zendaya and football player Odell Beckham Jr. being romantically involved. The speculation sparked when they were seen leaving a Grammy’s afterparty together. However, Zendaya’s father, Kazembe Coleman, joked that his daughter’s hangout with the football star was “like an audition” or an “interview” since he was along for the ride. (Via US Weekly)
Zendaya clarified to TMZ that she and Odell were simply friends. She downplayed the gossip, saying, “That was just my homie. We hung out one time, and it became a lot. But it’s fine.” Zendaya also added that they didn’t even go to a basketball game together, as some rumors suggested. They just happened to be seated next to each other, nothing more to it.
Trevor Jackson
Back in 2013, rumors of a romantic connection between Zendaya Coleman and Trevor Jackson began swirling, fueled by their on-screen chemistry in Jackson’s music video Like We Grown. Despite the speculation, Zendaya, in 2014 at Jackson’s birthday bash, clarified to HipHollywood that he was her best friend, putting the romantic rumors to rest.

However, the plot thickened three years later when Zendaya opened up to Vogue about a secret relationship she had between 2012 and 2016, referring to the man as her “first love.” Keeping the identity of her first love under wraps, fans began speculating if she was subtly referring to Trevor Jackson.
Recently, Zendaya returned with a more elaborate role of Chani in Dune: Part Two, after her brief appearance in the 2021 film Dune.
