Kings of Leon announce ‘Can We Please Have Fun Tour.’ Get tickets today

The Followill brothers will be spending quite a bit of time together this summer.

From August through October, Kings of Leon is touring all over North America in support of their upcoming ninth studio album “Can We Please Have Fun.”

It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of,” Caleb Followill said in a press release. “It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable,” Nathan adds. “I love it when a rock band is not embarrassed to admit that every song doesn’t have to be on 11.”

Along the way, the ‘Can We Please Have Fun Tour’ will roll into Queens, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

At that show, as well as most other U.S. and Canada gigs, they’ll be joined by special guest Phantogram.

For fans that can’t wait to get their hands on tickets to hear “Sex On Fire,” “Use Somebody,” “Pyro,” “Closer” and the new record live, we’re pleased to report that you can pick them up as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, March 1, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Kings of Leon new music

On May 10, “Can We Please Have Fun” will hit shelves.

As of now, the only preview we have from the 12-track record is the lead single “Mustang.”

The song is pure KoL; wailing vocals from Caleb, hard charging drums, twangy guitar licks and lots and lots of fun.

While you anxiously await the album’s release, you can rock out to “Mustang” here.

King of Leon special guest

At all North American gigs, the band will be joined by Phantogram.

The dream pop electronic rockers are known for danceable bangers like “Blackout Days” and “When I’m Small.”

Personally, we’re partial to their unforgettable earworm “Don’t Move.”
