We all know celebrities talking about their sex lives can be painfully embarrassing — and simultaneously the most intriguing shit I’ve ever heard. 

We’re all naturally curious about the sex lives of others. From group chat debriefs about what weird thing your Hinge date was into to our obsession with Normal People and even Jett thirsting over how “fire” Pookie looks tonight, no one is above taking a little peek into someone’s bedroom. Not literally, you perv. 

This is probably why celebrities get asked all. the. damn. time. about their sex lives. Some stars come off as cute and funny, like Cameron Diaz complaining about always “traveling for cock,” while most end up giving cringeworthy quotes that live forever online. In the defense of famous people, I would read as a nervous lunatic if someone asked me a series of unnecessarily invasive questions. Being the hypocrite that I am, I will still do some roasting because these stories did actually come out of their mouths.

A lot of celebrities have had sex on airplanes. I’m down for getting frisky on a private jet —  all the members of One Direction, except Niall Horan, said they were members of the mile high club in 2016. 

However, one surprising detail is most of these escapades take place on commercial flights. 

Cara Delevingne has “had sex in planes a lot,” which makes sense because she’s always traveling, but she’s also “always been caught.” 

“I had sex in the chair on the plane and there was a guy watching,” she told Love Magazine. “We ended up telling the air stewardess what was happening. Like, ‘This guy keeps staring at us. Can you tell him to stop?’” 

Was this man being creepy? Probably, yes. Was Cara also having sex on a plane while people were minding their own business and trying to watch Miss Congeniality? Also, yes. 

In case I’m being a prude, Kim Kardashian also draws the line at commercial flights. After confirming she’s had sex in the air during an Instagram Q&A, she added, “But like [a private plane]. I don’t think like a public plane … It would have to be an international flight.”

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend followed Kim’s international rule when they got busy on a plane.

“We were on our way to Thailand to see my parents, flying commercial first-class. We were under a blanket. We weren’t even in one of those pod things,” Chrissy told Cosmopolitan. “I feel like we should get a trophy for that.” Flight attendants are truly underpaid.
