In Gigi Hadid’s latest Instagram photo dump, the supermodel gave fans a glimpse into her life as mom to three-year-old daughter Khai.
Khai—whom Hadid shares with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik—is already growing up to be as fashionable as her stylish mother, as evidenced by a picture of the duo sitting on a couch and looking out a window into the woods. While Hadid wore a patterned black, yellow, blue, green, and red knit sweater with gray jeans, little Khai coordinated in her own bold ensemble. The toddler looked adorable in a bright red hooded puffer jacket, a dark gray skirt with a white plaid print, and red-and-white candy-cane tights. She also wore her chestnut hair up in wavy pigtails.
Another photo captures the mother-daughter duo enjoying a special moment together on the beach, with Khai sitting on her mom’s lap as the two embrace and look out into the water. In that snap, Hadid dresses casually in a cropped white top and baggy light blue jeans.
“Pretty recent .. 🫶,” Hadid captioned the photos.
Fans expressed their astonishment over how quickly Khai seems to have grown up.
“Wasn’t she like born yesterday? 😭😭,” one user wrote. Another added, “Gigi! You have a teenager! Her hair! 😭 How does it go so fast!?”
“I think that becoming a mom has made me realize that you just really have to start to get your eggs in a row and prioritize your time between being a mom and a person, and then also a working mom and person,” Hadid said in an interview with InStyle last year.
When it comes to life at home with Khai, Hadid added, “Every day, we’re cooking in the house together. Even if it’s just her and I, she will get up on her little step-up stool and help me mix, or we do banana bread. Especially in the winter, when I’m like, ‘Okay, what can we do that’s warm?’ It’s a lot of, ‘Okay, mash these bananas,’ and help her do the stuff that’s exciting to her.”
