British pop legend Samantha Fox, 56, found herself in trouble during a British Airways flight to Munich.
The renowned model and pop star, spent a night in a London hotel following an alleged drunken altercation on board.
Fox forced plane to turn around
The incident unfolded as the plane, already on the runway at London Heathrow, was ready for takeoff.
Sources revealed that Fox, in a dispute with another passenger, caused such a disturbance that the aircraft had to be turned around.
Passengers were subsequently disembarked and accommodated in a hotel, resuming their journey the following day.
Confirming the incident, the police disclosed that a woman in her 50s, believed to be Samantha Fox, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk on an aircraft.
She has been bailed until March.
Acknowledging the incident, Fox expressed remorse, stating, “I am deeply sorry for any disruption caused” and affirmed her full cooperation with the ongoing investigation.
Samantha Fox’ beyond the spotlight
The pop singer and former glamour model has been married to her tour manager Linda Olsen since 2022.
The couple, engaged since March 2020, shared their joy on Loose Women, with Fox revealing that Linda was the one who popped the question.
“When I met her, I knew I was completely in love with her and wanted to be with her forever.”
Fox’s life has been marked by both triumphs and tragedies.
Her previous partner and longtime manager, Myra Stratton, passed away from cancer in 2015.
Last year, Fox experienced another heartbreaking loss when her sister Vanessa died suddenly from a heart attack at the age of 50.
In her 2017 autobiography, “Forever,” Fox opened up about her close bond with Vanessa, who once protected her from their abusive father.
