The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is set to kickoff in Las Vegas on January 9. The four-day event is set to see a slew of new launches, announcements, keynote sessions and more. At this year’s CES, a bunch of celebrities are also making an appearance. “CES has a long history of welcoming celebrities and ambassadors for the world’s most well-known brands, and this year is no exception,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CTA. “We are excited for their participation at CES. These individuals and the brands they represent put a spotlight on important issues in the tech industry.”
The CTA or Consumer Techonology Association, in a press release, listed the names of celebrities attending the event this year. These include:
Robert Downey Jr.: The actor known for roles including Iron Man, will join MediaLink’s Marketing Reinvented session on January 9. The actor is perhaps the biggest name — from the celebrity world — attending the event.

Will.i.am: Music artist and singer-songwriter, will be joining CES exhibitor Mercedes
What to expect
We don’t expect to see too much on smartphones at CES 2024. However, do expect to see advancements in autonomous driving, with enhanced safety features and improved navigation capabilities. Electric vehicles will also be in the spotlight, with longer ranges and faster charging times.
Artificial intelligence is set to take centre stage, infiltrating every aspect of our lives. Expect to see smarter home assistants, personalised healthcare solutions, and even AI-powered robots that can cook, clean, and even hold conversations.
Health and wellness is always a focus area at CES and this year won’t be any different. From wearable devices that monitor vital signs and detect diseases to AI-powered mental health assistants, expect to see technologies that personalise healthcare and empower individuals to take charge of their well-being.
