Brittany Cartwright says she didn’t have a stroke — despite husband Jax Taylor’s claims

Brittany Cartwright is putting rumors to bed that she had a stroke last year.

The “Vanderpump Rules” alum, 34, corrected her husband Jax Taylor, 44, who misdiagnosed her health scare while appearing on “House of Villains.”

The pair recently appeared on their podcast, “When Reality Hits,” where they discussed the ordeal.

Taylor noted that a minute after he was voted off of the E! series, his manager called him to let him know that his wife was in the hospital and had “collapsed.”

“We didn’t know what it was. The doctors didn’t really know what it was. But it was stroke-like symptoms. I just assumed it was a stroke,” he explained.

Last month on an episode of “House of Villains,” the former SUR worker frantically told his castmates before departing the show that Cartwright was sick.

Taylor recalled that Cartwright was “crying” when she called him, saying: “I don’t want you to leave the show, but I just want to let you know I’m in the hospital.”

He continued: “I’m panicking. So I raced to Cedars [Sinai], stayed there for two nights, making sure that my wife doesn’t have cancer, doesn’t have spinal issues, doesn’t have MS. Turns out, she had a small stroke. She’s 33.”

She noted that Taylor made the comment “without being sure” of what was actually going on.

Taylor expressed regret over his quick reaction, adding: “We live in a day where every hour if you say something, people are going to criticize you like crazy about it.”

He added: “It’s crazy that people take everything you say literally. I apologize. I shouldn’t have said that. It was a scary time.”

She then scolded the model for saying the news as “so matter of fact.”

“This was terrifying for me,” the TV personality said as she recounted her “very, very scary” experience.

The mother of one then revealed that the right side of her body went “completely numb” where she “couldn’t even hold my cell phone up.”

The illness also made her unable to walk, at one point falling and bruising her right side.

She assured fans that she is “completely fine now,” as the sickness occurred months ago.

After undergoing multiple tests, the cause of the illness has still yet to be determined.

“It was like an ongoing thing. They never really knew exactly what was wrong with me. It could have been stress-induced. It could have been a pinched nerve in my spine,” she said. “It could have been — I have no idea. But I haven’t felt that sensation since.”

She also told listeners to not blame Taylor for anything, as she had “no idea that Jax was going to go on the show.”

She stated: “I don’t want to say that he was lying by any means. He was just worried about me.”
