We admit it: Celebrity real estate is our guilty pleasure.
We love to peek inside the homes of famous folks to spy on their cool couches, luxurious bathtubs, gorgeous kitchens, and massive swimming pools.
And as the holidays build to their crescendo this season, all eyes are turned to the decorations celebs have put up for their family and friends—and maybe some of their millions of followers on social media.
Yup, we’re on the hunt for A-list wreaths, decorations, and twinkle lights galore to see who displayed it better, who’s the most festive, and which stars are truly outrageous (in a good way) when it comes to Christmas ornaments.
Want to take a gander? Here are the very best holiday decor looks for 2023 from the celebrities you know and love.
Joanna Gaines

When it comes to chic modern farmhouse looks, no one does it better than the Magnolia Network design team of Chip and Joanna Gaines, who helped popularize the trend.
This year, the “Fixer Upper” stars posted a cute video of Joanna dashing around her store, Magnolia Market, to pick up all of the holiday details for her beautiful display.
The best look here, which includes sweet stockings hung by the chimney with care, is an all-silver pine with white lights that’s installed in a matching metal bucket.
Yet the best decor might be the collection of actual old-timey Christmas records stacked next to a vintage turntable.
Kim Kardashian
Few families are as over the top as the Kardashian crew—and this year’s holiday decor is no different.
Kim Kardashian has lit up her driveway entrance by wrapping what looks to be a dozen or more trees with bright white lights. The look is both minimalist and maximalist—at the same time. Well done, Kim!
And the wonder continues on the interior of her home with an entire grove of Christmas trees covered in fake snow lining a long hallway. Her daughter North West recently pranced through the fir fantasy and seemed absolutely enchanted by the decorations.
Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent
Spare and minimal, a home festooned with garlands made from mixed greens and tiny lights suits the talented duo of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent perfectly.
These pretty looks are to be expected, of course, as the partners in life are also a design team and hosts of the hit HGTV show “The Nate & Jeremiah Home Project.”
On Instagram, Berkus credits Brent with putting together the look, as he says his partner’s “love for the holidays knows no limit!”
Brent’s Christmas display includes garland over door frames, a wreath over the kitchen sink, and greenery in pots on side tables. The all-green palette gives multicolored holiday decorations a serious challenge.
Jennifer Lopez
Truth: Jennifer Lopez is a living Christmas ornament, as shown here in front of her tree that’s festooned with silver pine cones, gold balls, and flowers. She completes the design with her own full skirt of sparkling brocade and a gem-studded waistline. #Goals!
Martha Stewart
She’s the queen of entertaining (at 82!), and she’s still going strong this Christmas season. Martha Stewart has ideas for days, including a stunning wooden dowel tree and this classy mantel arrangement, above.
The look is easy to create, thanks to a colorful assortment of bottle-brush trees and votive lights. Dust your creation with faux snow (or stretch cotton balls along the edge), and you’ll have a Stewart-approved winter wonderland in mere minutes.
Michael Strahan
We have a soft spot for all pets during the holiday season, especially those dressed as reindeer and elves!
Michael Strahan has reined in this urge and instead treated us to his adorable pups enjoying his lovely tree.
His design is traditional in color and arrangement, with golden accents, candy canes, and red bows, including a large topper in the same shade. And just like J. Lo, his tree features gorgeous metallic flowers.
The Bidens
We’ll end with Joe and Jill Biden and their spectacular Christmas extravaganza at The White House this year. The Bidens rely on help from a large crew of volunteers to design and arrange the trees, garlands, and wreaths in several public rooms in the People’s House.
Of course, presidential holiday decor can spark controversy. (Remember those massive replicas of the Obamas’ dogs and the blood-red trees from the Trump administration?)
But this year, the Bidens’ theme of “Magic, Wonder, and Joy” appeals to every kind of taste. The look is supposed to inspire visitors to embrace their inner child, which is easy to do in this sweet shop that’s been reimagined in the China Room, complete with cakes, candy, and gingerbread, plus all of the baking tools you’ll need to create these treats.
