Andre Braugher, the two-time Emmy-winning actor known for his roles including detective Frank Pembleton on “Homicide: Life On The Street” and Captain Raymond Holt on “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” has died. He was 61.
Deadline reported Tuesday that Braugher passed on Monday after a brief illness.
The Post has contacted a rep for Braugher for comment.
He is survived by his wife, actress Ami Brabson, and sons Michael, Isaiah, and John Wesley.
Braugher won an Emmy in 1998 for “Homicide” and another for the FX’s “Thief” in 2006.
