I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has revealed its three finalists for the 2023 series.

Tonight’s (December 9) semi-final saw the remaining four contestants – Nigel Farage, Josie Gibson, Tony Bellew and Sam Thompson – take part in the Celebrity Cyclone Challenge, before competing for a place in the final.

At the end of proceedings, hosts Ant & Dec walked down to camp to inform the celebrities who would be departing before the final. After a tantalising wait, it was revealed that Josie had been eliminated, leaving Nigel, Tony and Sam as this year’s finalists.

“I’m so happy to see my little boy – it’s been such a long time,” the This Morning presenter said following her exit. “I’ve surprised myself. I’m stronger than I thought I was.

“I know I’ve got a phobia of spiders. If I didn’t have a fear of them before, I’ve definitely got one now – the one’s here are on steroids! They’re as big as your hand, but when I go home I think I’ll be less scared of house spiders.

“I really enjoyed Cyclone – I would pay to do that. But some of the trials are like a horror film – I couldn’t believe they do this to people. When they stuck Nella [Rose] in that bowl with the cockroaches around her head, I thought: ‘Wow, what a woman.'”

Josie also spoke about her arguments with co-star Fred Sirieix during the series, which arose over their cooking styles.

“It was a battle of the chefs, wasn’t it? It’s a lot of pressure cooking for camp but Fred was pressuring me all the time,” she remarked.

“I think I put him straight in the end. We had a showdown, which I won, so we settled it. Bless Fred – he’s a trained chef. It’s difficult to hand over the reins when you’re trained in that field. But sorry Fred, everyone all preferred my food!”

The finale will take place tomorrow (December 10), with Nigel, Tony and Sam battling it out to be crowned King of the Jungle via public vote.
