I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Kiosk Kev has been seen brandishing a rare smile as he breaks from his onscreen gruffness for photos with campmates and crew backstage of the ITV show.
Kiosk Kev has a worse bite than many of the creatures that the celebrities come in contact with while Down Under in the Australian jungle and his curt manner is the stuff of legends when the campmates look to exchange their dingo dollars for a special treat. It would seem that under the grizzly grey beard, there is a ray of sunshine looking to burst through as he breaks into a smile for photos, shared on Instagram.
Kiosk Kev has reached legendary status since replacing Kiosk Keith on the ITV reality show and on the personal page of the star, whose real name is Mark Herlaar, he has shared moments with the celebrities and admitted that he enjoys having “fun” with his “alter ego”.

Among the photos on his Instagram page, Mark is seen posing with former King of the Jungle, Harry Redknapp, while standing with singer Fleur East has brought a broad, bearded grin as the actor shakes off his onscreen persona. Captioning the photos, Mark wrote: “For those of you who know me personally… will know that I never ever take for granted the opportunities that come my way.
“My life is full of the unknown and the mystery of what’s next. I don’t plan my life I follow the bread crumbs and I am never disappointed at what comes into my alignment.”
The actor then went on to declare that his time on the ITV show have been the “best years of my life”. He continued on the post: “And a massive part of that is every year I’ve been part of the @imacelebrity team It’s been some of the best years of my life … I work with some of the most talented people on this planet. And I get to rub shoulders with them and enjoy the energy they create to bring I’m a celebrity to the UK.” [sic]

Kiosk Kev added: “It’s more than just a show it’s a family of the best sorts of people and they always make me feel so welcomed and appreciated. They fill my heart in so many levels that I just can’t wait to get back to set. And the funny part is as Kiosk Kev I get to play my alter ego. Which is fun. So to all you out there that love this show and have followed it for many years … Know this I love it as well and for many many reasons.
The actor concluded: “And thanks to you for watching… it’s an honour to be on your screens. And till the next dingo dollar challenge I’ll be looking at ya… Enjoy and Gday.”
Kiosk Kev actor juggles his role, which he began in 2018, with being a lime farmer and his online Kombucha business.
