Camp ‘quitter’ Nella Rose future on I’m A Celebrity confirmed after medic trip

NELLA Rose has sensationally rejoined the I’m A Celebrity camp after ITV bosses scrambled to rush her to medics during Tuesday’s live show.

Viewers were convinced the outspoken YouTuber and social media influencer had thrown in the towel after struggling through a string of high-octane challenges and clashes in camp.

Nella’s final trial was Dreaded Beds alongside Frankie Dettori, where she was branded a let down even by host Ant McPartlin.

But then Ant and Dec broke the news as they entered the site on Tuesday night to discuss the next trial that Nella was being seen by medics – leaving viewers convinced she had taken her leave.

Now The Sun can exclusively reveal Nella is now back in camp after her time in the medical bay.

An ITV spokesman said: “During last night’s live broadcast, Nella Rose required medical treatment on site and was deemed unable to take part in the trial.

“Nella has since rejoined camp.”

Previously Nella had battled through Fishy Business with the help of Sam Thompson.

Aside from the trials, Nella’s time in camp was crammed with tense moments, bust-ups and clashes after she came up against Fred Sirieix in the now infamous ‘dad-gate’ row, plus grilling Nigel Farage on immigration.

On Sunday’s night show she waded into a fresh row, after viewers branded her sexist for her comments about the “real men” in camp collecting firewood.

Viewers loved Nella after she gamely took on Hell Holes and the Jungle Pizzeria alongside Nigel Farage in the early episodes, with bookies crashing her odds from 25/1 to 16/1 to win.

But after bizarrely wading into a row with Fred after he quipped he was “old enough to be her dad”, her chances tumbled to an outside 50/1.

A source said: “Nella had a real journey in camp but ultimately the strain of jungle life proved too much.

“She really struggled mentally with the trials but also kept finding herself in tension with campmates.”

Nella‘s backslide began when she yelled out ‘get me out of here’ during her first solo trial, No Time To Cry.

She couldn’t cope in the dark as she was pelted with electric shocks and quit, visibly struggling to fight off a panic attack when she came above ground.

Then she also threw in the towel during Touchdown of Terror.

At the time she said: “I’m sorry guys, I’m sorry. I’ve let myself down, I’ve let my team down.”

Sam reasoned: “There’s nothing you can do if you can’t breathe. What are you going to do? Swallow cockroaches?”
